Buying BackOps Pro, Starting a Trial, and Resuming

Your organization's first BackOps Pro seats are bought, or a trial started, as part of creating the organization. This page covers what happens after that: trials, buying before a trial ends, and coming back after a subscription ends.

Your First Purchase

In the How big is your team? step of the organization wizard, choose your number of BackOps Pro seats, then either Continue to payment and pay by card or bank account, or Start a 14-day trial instead. Every purchase records the terms the buyer agreed to.

If you pay by bank account and the bank still has to verify it, the organization runs on a trial until the verification completes.

Trials

A trial lasts 14 days and covers BackOps Pro only. Passes cannot be added during a trial, cancelling and usage settings are not available until it ends, and seats are changed only when you buy. An organization gets one trial; buying again later is never a trial.

During the trial the plan card in Settings › Billing shows a Trial badge and the date it ends. Nothing is charged until you buy.

To keep going after the trial, select Buy BackOps Pro on the plan card, or Buy now on the banner. In Manage plan, confirm your seats and payment method and agree to the terms. Nothing is charged at that point: the trial runs to its end and then converts to a paid subscription. If the trial ends with no payment method, the subscription ends and the organization lapses.

When a Subscription Lapses

An organization whose licenses have all ended is lapsed. Its people can no longer work in it, but its events, crew, and files are kept. Organization admins can still open Settings › Billing, where the plan card offers Buy BackOps Pro to start a new subscription.

Resuming a Cancelled Subscription

A cancelled subscription keeps working until the end of the period you paid for, and a banner shows the date access ends. Until then, select Resume subscription, agree to the charge, and the subscription carries on as before. Once the period has ended, buy again from the plan card instead.
